The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj had a meeting on Friday with the new 24 administrators of the capital due to the new academic year. He made clear at the start of the new academic year, that traffic problems will be reduced. According to Veliaj, the vans and other heavy vehicles will be banned to circulate inside the small ring.

“Starting from 06:00  to 09:00  and from 16:00 to 21:00, all heavy vehicles will be banned from circulation,” said Veliaj. On the other side he admitted the fact that on the beginning of the new academic year, old problems such as schools conditions still persist. On this occasion, he appealed again to the businesses to “adopt a school” with the hope that this initiative will function just like the project of the kindergarten.
