The Speaker of Parliament, Ilir Meta held a meeting on Thursday with the President of Kosovo, Ahtifete Jahjaga. During the meeting, Meta guarantee Jahjaga that Albania supports Kosovo's progress in the Euro-Atlantic Integration process. The Parliament Speaker said that the efforts should continue on reinforcing the democratic institutions, the rule of law, the recognition of Kosovo's independence  by international governments and organizations, and the normalization of the relations with Serbia. 

"Albania will always support Kosovo's democratic progress," underlined Meta. 

The President of Kosovo Jahjaga was accompanies during the meeting by the Minister of Trade and Industry, Hykmete Bajrami; the Minister of Agriculture, Forests and Rural Development, Memli Krasniqi. Meanwhile Ilir Meta were with the Deputy Parliament Speaker, Shpetim Idrizi, and the Chairwoman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Arta Dade.
