Deputy Prime Minister, Niko Peleshi declared his support on Thursday to the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, for the suspension of building permits issued by Lulzim Basha at the time he was in charge of the municipality. Speaking from Korca, Peleshi said that “the building permits, especially those given by Basha recently before the local elections are abusive."
During his electoral campaign, Erion Veliaj promised that he will make an audit to all the building permits given by Basha. Meanwhile Tirana Prosecution has started an investigation for the building permits given by Basha during the period June 2013 – July 2014.
