New Strategy to Cultivate Cannabis, Small Parcels in Lands without Owner

It is not a surprise that the Albanian police is founding so much cannabis roots all over the country these days. After the police action in Lazarat, the cultivators find a new way to plant drugs. Deputy director of the State police, Altin Qato, explained that the cultivators find lands without owners or properties of the state, in order to plant cannabis in small parcels.

"They aim areas that aren't occupied or that are impossible to identify the owner. Plots that are in remote areas, and land without the owner provide difficulty to identify the author. The areas with owners are almost impossible to reactivate," said Qato. For that, according to him, the territory is monitored all day and night by the police officials. He considered successful the actions of the police all over the country, after having found and destroyed more than 325 thousand cannabis roots.
