Some 90% of Clams Die due to Heat in Lake of Butrinti

It results that in the lake of Butrinti have died 90% of clams. According to the experts, the main reasons for this occurrence were the high temperatures inside the lake.

The delegate of Agriculture Ministry in this area, Ardion Xinxo, said that it has been achieved to keep the temperatures inside the lake at 38-39 degrees Celsius. According to Xinxo, the optimal temperature to help with the cultivation of clams is roughly 28 degrees Celsius.

Moreover, Xinxo explains that another place is being searched for the transfer of clams, while he highlights that a working team has been established for this reason.
