Starting from Monday Tirana will be cleaned of the rubbish. The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, said that this is the biggest problem of Tirana citizens, thus there will be no vacation for this institution, but everyone will work to clean the city. Meanwhile, in the very first action as a Mayor, Veliaj adjusted the clock in the centre of the capital, which did not work for four years. Afterwards, he took under protections the independence monument in the "Rinia Park". At this monument Veliaj said that the institution that he directs will clean and rehabilitate it before November 28.
