The Democratic Party accused on Friday the government for involvement in drug trafficking. MP Gent Strazimiri said on Friday that the drug is spreading massively all over the country. "During the recent months cannabis has been cultivated across the country. From south to north, from east to west, Albania map is taking drug colors. This is a disaster for the Albanians, but it is a business that is bringing profits to traffickers linked to the government," accused Strazimiri.

According to him, never before has there been a massive invasion of the country by cannabis as it is happening under this government, which according to him is "with the supervision of the Minister of Interior".
