Some eight clandestine immigrants were detained on Thursday near the border crossing point of Kapshtica as they entered illegally in Albania in order to move on to the European Union.
Five Syrians and three Palestinians were initially escorted to the Border Police and Migration Police Directorate in Korca, where they were questioned and then moved to the Asylum Seekers Center in Tirana.
Only in July, at the green border with Greece in Korca, at least 18 clandestine immigrants have been detained while attempting to move through Albania to the European Union.
