Vlora's Police has arrested on Friday Maks Meraj, 52, declared internationally wanted by the Italian Authorities for being part of a criminal organization, hostage, prostitution exploitation etc.
Police structures of the Trafficking and Narcotics Investigation Section at the Local Police Directorate of Vlora, arrested him in the framework of a police operation codenamed "Blic".
As a result of the operation, it was possible to obtain Meraj and arrest him temporarily for the purpose of extradition to Italy.
Interpol Tirana is continuing further procedure's on Meraj's extradition towards Italy.
