The Speaker of the Albanian Parliament, Gramoz Ruci, received on Tuesday the President of the Supreme Audit Office of Poland, Krzysztof Kwiatowski, accompanied by the Ambassador of Poland in Tirana, Karol Bachura.
During the meeting, Ruci praised Poland's support for the European integration process of Albania.
"Poland is for Albania a partner and friend country and represents one of the most successful models of progress towards democracy and European integration. Auditing the activity of state institutions is of crucial importance for development and democracy. Although the Supreme State Audit is run by an opposition representative, the Parliament is cooperating with this institution in a fruitful way," said Ruci.
In the other hand, Kwiatowski thanked Ruci for the receiving and fruitful cooperation of the Albanian Parliament with the Supreme State Audit of Poland. He informed the Speaker about the successful completion of a joint project and expressed his highest ratings for the high performance and high standards of the Albanian State Audit Office.
