Shkoder, Rozafa's Castle Welcomes Many Visitors

The Rozafa's Castle in Shkoder has been one of the favorite tourist destinations this year.
It has scored quite positive figures in January-June 2018, attracting a total of 43,690 visitors. Much of the tourists have been foreign, who have shown interest in getting to know her history and architecture. The Rozafa's castle rises above a rocky hill west of the city of Shkodra, surrounded by the waters of three rivers: Drin, Buna, and Kiri.
Built during the Illyrian kingdom, it is represented by a legend that shows the promise of a legendary Oath. It is one of the most valuable historical and ancient monuments of Albania.
