Seismiologist, Rrapo Ormeni, declared on Friday that post-earthquake shakings are normal after a strong earthquake and warned that they may last for days or even weeks.
"The earthquake that happened on Wednesday, was of such a magnitude that other ones are predicted follow after. The total number of earthquakes in Albania was 516. It is understandable that their intensity will decrease, but nevertheless it depends on the earthquake's epicenter.
But you may remain calm because the future earthquakes are not expected to cause any damage.
They will be of the magnitude that varies from 4.2 to 4.3," declared Ormeni.
