The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, together with famous artists like Alfred Trebicka, Gazmend Paja, Artan Imami etc, visited this Thursday the National Stadium that is being build, where the known Italian architect Marco Casamonti, acquainted them with the great opportunities that has created this kind of cooperation, for the brief realization of such a modern work for Albanian sports fans.
Veliaj thanked the artists for accepting the invitation and said that Tirana and all of Albania will have one of the most modern stadiums in Europe.
"I am very happy that, together with our friends, who have been part of the constructive debate for the new theater, had a visit today, together with Marco Casamonti, the famous Italian architect, who has designed and supervised it in detail the new stadium of Tirana. It is an undoubtedly the most modern stadium in Europe today, from the finishing touch to the basic concept. Today was just an another promise to show actors what potential and power we have with the new theater, which I believe will be the future site for Tirana, after the stadium," said Veliaj.
Impressed by the visit to the new stadium site, the well-known actor, Gazment Paja, said with humor that now the soccer stars will no longer have reason not to come and play in Albania.
"It was a fantastic guide because it is beautiful without finishing. It was worth it to get muddy. I pray to the Mayor that, as he allowed us today to see the premises, he have to do so with other people who are interested. We are not afraid now that Ronaldo will wrinkle his face on the conditions because this stadium has it all. Just come, than will be the duty of Albanian champs to make us proud," said Paja.
