The Chairwoman of the Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI), Monika Kryemadhi, was invited in Washington for a two-day trip, where she talked about Albanian integration and the immigrant crisis.
According to her, she had fruitful conversations with former US Congressional members regarding these issues.
"I was invited to the annual meeting in Washington, where we talked about Albania's EU integration and the immigration crisis that our continent is experiencing recently. I had fruitful conversations with former important members of the American Congress. Among other things, important to American interlocutors was the fact that the immigration crisis in Europe requires a new approach to attitude. According to them, this has to do with the strengthening of European countries, as well as with the radical change in the political and economic life of refugee exporting countries," said Kryemadhi.
She added that the government's game with refugees is entirely at the expense of the Albanians, and the destroyed future of the youth.
