Who wants to take his own property has at his disposal some other six months to apply for it. The head of the Agency of the Property Restitution and Compensation, Sonila Qato, said on Thursday that the new law provides this.
Qato said that for the first time the government undertakes the bill that the state faces for the identification of all compensation decisions. The annual fund budget shall maintain a progressive growth with an average value of Lek 5 billion per year, with a 10-year time span.
"For the first time the government undertook the identification of the bill that the state would afford for the execution of all compensation decisions, as well as all the institutions analyzed all the possible resources. Within 6 months our institution will verify the problems with documentation for 26 thousand compensation decisions," said Qato.
