Assassination of Azem Hajdari, Files Will Reopen

Izet Haxhia, the former bodyguard of the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, has requested this Thursday in front of the Criminal Court of Tirana, the reopening of the murder file of Azem Hajdari.
The institution has accepted the request and it is expected that this decision will prove for once and for all, the truth.
Izet Haxhia has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for Azem Hajdari's assassination but he has never admitted this accusation, alleging that he was unjustly convicted.
