Chairman of Socialist Party (SP) Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, has reacted following the debates and tensions in the Education and Means Parliamentary Committee on Monday where Tirana Mayor, Erion Veliaj was 'attacked' by the democrat members.
Balla insisted that Chairwoman of the Education and Means Committee, Albana Vokshi must be dismissed from her position because she broke the rules of Parliament. He added that Democratic Party (DP) is just acting on the issue of theater demolition to use it for its own interests.
"Vokshi broke the rules of Albanian Parliament because Veliaj is not obliged to take part in the Committee but nevertheless came on his will. She didn't respect the regulation to approve the daily agenda. DP members were equipped with eggs in their pockets. Furthermore violence acts were made by Democrats Flamur Noka and Ervin Salianji against the Guard. I make a call to DP Chairman, Lulzim Basha, to hinder these shameful acts. Just as shameful is the behavior of Albana Vokshi. We want her to be dismissed because her attitude in the committee was unbearable," concluded Balla.
