The Prime Minister, Edi Rama held a meeting with residents of Lura village on Saturday promising new investments. Speaking about development projects for Lura, Rama considered agritourism as a good opportunity to say goodbye to poverty.
"The answer is that instead of aiming the impossible and toiling yourselves working from early morning to late at night, only to produce in agriculture and seek survival by grabbing the products and selling then on streets, turn your attention to the extraordinary natural beauties and historical and cultural heritage and get yourselves involved in agritourism. Not just the tomato and potato market, but the agritourism market. State's support for the area starts from infrastructure,"said Rama.
The premier further added that the road in this area will be constructed.
"Just do not start writing from today on Facebook why hasn't started the construction of the road, because its construction requires a whole process. The project needs to be funded, and then there is a whole process of signing the contract, and such things require a long time," Premier said.
