This year marks the 15 anniversary of the execution of the police chief of Kruja Commissariat, Gani Malushi.
He was killed in a gunfire 15 years ago along with his driver, Gjovalin Ndreu by Agim Pepa.
His murder comes as a revenge that Pepa family from Mirdita has with the family of Gjovalin Ndreu as well from the same city.
Back in 1999, the sister of Gjovalin Ndreu who was married with Agim Pepa killed herself after his husband forced her to be a prostitute in Italy.
Her father required to be exhumed the body of his daughter in order to be further examinations on her murder.
Two years later, on 2001, Agim Pepa was denounced by the Sela's sisters and her father for forcing them to be prostitutes in Italy. The same accuse came in his address by another woman, Emanuela Bardhoku.
Based on these accuses and the suspicious that he already killed his first wife, the sister of Gjovalin Ndreu, Agim Pepa was arrested.
On the same year, Gjovalin Ndreu's father, killed for blood feud Pjeter Pepa, the father of Agim Pepa, while the last was in jail.
On that time, Gjovalin Ndreu worked on Kruja Police because he was the son of Pal Ndreu, adopted by the cousins due to another blood feud.
For the blood feud that they have with the Pepa family, they were trying to emigrate in USA, but unfortunately he was killed in a gunfire along with Police Chief, Gani Malushi in Durres from Agim Pepa.
The story of the blood feud goes on even on 2005.
In this year, Nikolin Prenga, the friend and the collaborator of Agim Pepa, was killed in Italy.
The author of the murder, Nikolin Prenga was killed in Durres also for blood feud.
Meantime, another cousin of Gjovalin Ndreu, Gjergj Mirashi was threatened to death in Italy and Albania.
Despite the fact that 15 years ago was killed the hero, colonel Gani Malushi, the series of murders between the families Ndreu, Pepa, Bardhoku, Laskaj, Prenga and Mirashi from Lezha city goes on due to the state incompetence. The history of blood feud that already claim 10 victims continues.
