The Interior Minister of Albania, Fatmir Xhafaj, received the Secretary General of the OSCE, Thomas Greminger who is in an official visit in Albania.
During the meeting, Minister thanked him for the contribution and important role of the OSCE presence in Albania, the support given to judicial reform and the drafting of the Priority Policy Document in the Field of Security and Order.
He made a summary of the priorities and concrete results of the Interior Ministry in the fight against organized crime, Vetting in the State Police, the "Force of Law" operation, as well as achievements in the fight against terrorism and violent extremism.
Meanwhile, Greminger expressed maximum appreciation for the achievements so far and for the constructive cooperation of the Interior Ministry with international partners in common challenges.
"I am impressed by the efforts and achievements so far in the field of Vetting and the fight against organized crime and we stand fully ready for further support," said the Secretary General.
