Albanian President, Ilir Meta organized on Saturday evening the gala dinner at the end of the activity "South East Europe Gathering 2018, Morning prayers" where was invited even the Deputy Assistant Secretary and Senior Bureau Official for the Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations (CSO) Pete Marocco.
During his speech, President said that the topic of the meeting was inspiring and with impact for the region countries.
"In our days the countries of the region are experiencing a new cooperation epoch. They are still away from the real reconciliation, but at least the dialogue is going on," President said.
According to him, all the region countries that aim to be part of EU are working to fulfill Europe's criterias.
"We will not let the region to turns back on the conflictual past. As good neighbors we are trusting more to each other," underlined Meta.
During the evening he had a warm conversation with high U.S official Marocco.
