Minister of Interior Fatmir Xhafaj and Minister of Justice Etilda Gjonaj traveled on Tuesday to the Netherlands to attend a debate on Rule of Law Reform in Albania and the Dutch/EU Contribution, organized by the Embassy of Albania to the Netherlands and Center for International Legal Cooperation (CILC), one of the partners in the EU-funded EURALIUS justice assistance mission. Attending the debate were also Agnes Bernhard, resident team leader of the EU funded project "Consolidation of Justice System in Albania EURALIUS V", and Eric Vincken, deputy director of CILC, who focused on the contribution of the EU and Dutch expertise in supporting this agenda.
As CILC announced, opening the accession negotiations with the European Union will be crucial for enhancing these transformation processes in Albania, as it will be a crucial stepping stone for long-term success.
