The merger of hospital-related structures has led to the dismissal of 36 employees at the Health Care Compulsory Insurance Fund (HCCIF).
This institution reacted immediately by saying that this structure was artificially inflated and its restructuring was necessary to increase efficiency.
"The HCCIF clarifies that this institution has begun the restructuring process, because in years, the structure was extremely inflated and inefficient. Restructuring of the Fund became necessary because the functioning of this structure had overlapping tasks and competencies. The same work was being carried out by some persons in different sectors or directorates ascertained and by the controlling authorities in their reports. For these reasons, the structure and the number of employees were reviewed by decision of the Administrative Council on 25.09.2017," declared this institution.
