Electoral Chamber Made Public the Final Report on June 21

The Electoral Chamber presented on Tuesday the final report on the local elections held on 21st of June. According to the report, the mayoral candidates made promises during the electoral campaign without concrete projects and they did not make transparency on the finances of the parties.

"The candidates made promises without concrete projects. In addition, the transparency of the election campaign was concerning. The transparency of party finances, which is a constitutional obligation, has not been fulfilled,"said Lutfi Dervishi. The Electoral Chamber also noted that the State Police ensured public order, but in some areas there was extensive presence of the police, which might have been translated into pressure on voters.
