EU delegation to Tirana continues celebrations for the European Year of Cultural Heritage in Albania.
They pay tribute to the delicious food and culinary traditions of Albania, in Dardha this Sunday.
"Petka, kernacka, lakror, gliko, petulla të kulaç and all kinds of specialities of the Korça region were presented at the food fair in Dardha - one of Europe Week's last events.
Transmitted from generation to generation, traditional cuisine is not just about tasty food. It is a cultural model comprising farming, specific skills, culinary techniques and age-old community customs. EU Ambassador Vlahutin, Minister for Agriculture Peleshi and Minister of Culture Kumbaro discussed with the people of Dardha how to support the entire food chain, from farming to cooking and, of course, eating," EU delegation reacted.
