The Albanian Football Federation (AFF), has sent a letter on Saturday to the Provisional Chief Prosecutor, Arta Marku, asking for a meeting with her to discuss about the fixing of matches in the local football.
"The Albanian Football Federation, aiming at permanently protecting the integrity and reputation of Albanian football, is always striving to combat phenomena or unethical practices that damage the image of the football game in general. Unfortunately, with the limited means available to sports justice, these efforts have not always been fruitful. With the will to improve the current situation, but also to establish a constant cooperation bridge between our two institutions, we seek a meeting to share with you some of the issues that AFF has in its activity," wrote AFF for the Chief Prosecutor.
In Albania, the Prosecution has not found any cases of fixed matches in football, although there have been many suspicious ones.
