President of the Republic, Ilir Meta, was present at the festive ceremonies organized by the Municipality of Skrapar on the occasion of the opening of the touristic season, conducting a working visit to promote natural beauties and tourism.
He welcomed the opening of the touristic season, inaugurating the annual Skrapar Bio Products Fair, where the products of the area were exhibited, accompanied by the Mayor, Nesim Spahiu.
"I am here to open the touristic season, but at the same time to celebrate May 9, Europe Day and the Victory Day to Fascism. This Fair with the local products of Skrapar is very important and encouraging for the further development of the entire area. I thank the Mayor Nesim Spahiu for his work and commitment, for the transformation of this municipality, as well as all the staff and citizens," said Meta.
The head of the state stressed that more attention should be paid to the preservation of these special characteristics that distinguish Skrapar from other provinces of the country because it will soon be one of the most important touristic destinations in the whole region.
