The Abu Dhabi's Fund will continue to support the Municipality of Tirana to bring the New Boulevard project to the end for the remaining two segments and to revitalize a monumental square at the end of it.
The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, received in a meeting the director of world operations of the Abu Dhabi's Development Fund, Adel Al Husan, with whom he talked about the completion of the New Boulevard project, as well as the possibility of continuing the cooperation even for other projects.
"We had a great experience with the implementation of the New Boulevard project and in these two years we have been walking at exceptional rates. Today we are approaching the end while we have completed the placement of the Tirana River, which saved floods from the units 4, 8, 9 and 11," declared Veliaj.
Meanwhile, the director of the Abu Dhabi's Development Fund, Adel Al Husan, was pleased with the cooperation of the Municipality of Tirana and emphasized the support for other development projects for the citizen's benefit.
"We are pleased with the Albanian government strategic partnership and we are all witnessing a great deal of achievement. We are continuing discussions with the government on new projects. Thanks to those who gave us the opportunity to be part of their development challenges and to continue to help our colleagues and brothers in Albania for a better future," said Adel Al Husan.
