The Municipality of Tirana, has undertaken an initiative to open new gyms for the youth in order to pronounce sport in their lives.
Tirana's Mayor Erion Veliaj, developed a basketball match with the youth at the "4 Deshmoret" school, where he said that the campaign to increase attention to sports will turn into a success story for the youth of the city.
"Encourage children to read books, spend time in nature, and take up sports. As we did the tree campaign, which was a success campaign, I am convinced that this new campaign, sports classes, sports associations, and sports activities can be an initiative that will transform Tirana youth, perhaps a even more than the campaign of the trees we just closed," said Veliaj
New gyms will be opened in 62 schools in Tirana and Mayor urged to the parents to enroll children in sports classes, enabling them to grow healthy and secure.
