During his stay in Paris, Interior Minister of Albania, Fatmir Xhafaj, took part in the international conference for the war against financing of terrorist organizations "No Money for Terror".
He had the opportunity to meet his French counterpart, Gerard Collomb, and to share thoughts on the European integration process of Albania, especially after the recent European Commission recommendation report for the opening of the accession negotiations.
Collomb expressed the pleasure of strengthening the cooperation between the two countries in the field of security, and in particular for the positive achievements of Albania in recent months in the fight against organized crime.
In the other hand, Xhafaj, expressed special appreciation for the encouragement of the highest French authorities in this regard and for the positive assessments made public by his French counterpart.
They both agreed to meet soon in Tirana or Paris, in order to evaluate the work done and to further deepen cooperation in the field of order and security.
