Berati and Gjirokastra, UNESCO: Not Part of the World Heritage in Danger

Berati and Gjirokastra are not in the "black" list of UNESCO as cities in danger. The Minister of Culture, Mirela Kumbaro informed on Friday that the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO after an evaluation of the process on the management of the two cities, Berati and Gjirokastra, has decided for these properties not to be anymore in the list of World Heritage in Danger.

According to Kumbaro, this result came after the reforms that have been carried out by the current Government.
