The revival of green areas has turned the Artificial Lake of Tirana into the center of sport activities. On Monday for the first time in Albania there was held a 'Survivor Games' championship, which promotes active living in nature.
On his speech, Tirana Mayor accompanied by Socialist MP, Eduard Shalsi, mentioned that Artificial Lake Park, due to infrastructure improvements, was transformed into an alternative space for sport and social activities for youth.
Veliaj also revealed, Municipality's statistics which show a decreased number of cafes, bet points and at the same time an increased number of libraries, gyms and playing grounds.
Eduard Shalsi, encouraged the Mayor to continue the hard work for transforming Tirana into a model for all Albanian cities, at the same time he joined the campaign of the Municipality for greening Tirana, via planting trees.
