Prime Minister, Edi Rama, held a meeting on Monday in Prime Ministry premises with State Police officers, where present was also the Interior Minister, Fatmir Xhafaj.
The main reason of this meeting was the praising of the extraordinary work of policemen who often return to heroes, even outside the cameras of media attention.
PM Rama, during his speech, assessed the police act at the serious event in Fier, where during a robbery attempt remained dead one of the authors. He said that the police avoided the heavy tragedy by saving the life of the elderly couple.
In the other hand, Interior Minister Xhafaj, said that like never before, police has whiten all the lately cases, by putting behind bars the authors.
"We raised the number of police officers in the ground and released bureaucracies from the offices by implementing the law in the service of the citizen. Police, like never before, has whiten all recent criminal events and captured the authors," said Xhafaj.
He praised the immediate intervention by police in Fier and said that this event should be a lesson for anybody who thinks that can raise a hand against police.
