Japan Embassy Donations for Cleaner Parks in Tirana

The Embassy of Japan to Albania will support the Municipality of Tirana to ameliorate the service of cleaning parks in the city. The collaboration agreement was signed between the Japanese Embassy and the Agency of Parks and Recreations on Friday. This project will enable the increase of cleaning vehicles and other necessary to maintain Artificial Lake Park and others.
Both Japanese Ambassador to Albania, Makoto Ito and Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, express their positive attitude towards this collaboration, seeing it as a corner stone of a steady relationship.
"I am glad that through this agreement we are able to have a notable donation for the Agency of Parks and Recreations has aid to increase the number of the bins, equipment and a modernization system for cleaning Tirana's parks," said Veliaj.
On the other hand Ambassador Ito said: "It is a great pleasure for me to sign this collaboration, which directly impacts on ameliorating the ambiance in Tirana. On this occasion I wish to express my consideration for the work conducted by Mayor Veliaj, on the creation of the Orbital Forest in Tirana, with planting numerous trees that can be considered as the best hereditary to leave to the next generation.
