The leader of the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee for the former socialist Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri, Edi Paloka, said on Tuesday that the process for this case will continue till end, and no blocking will be allowed.
According to him, the work of this Committee will not prevent the Prosecution on its investigations for the former Interior Minister.
"The Tahiri Parliamentary Inquiry Committee does prevent prosecution's investigations into this matter. We do not directly investigate Tahiri, but all drugs situation and cultivation in Albania and we want some answers. We are convinced that there has been a strategy that went through the parliamentary elections," said Paloka.
He added that during the work of the Committee will be presented facts and evidences that will prove that the cannabis plantations all over the country was intentional and that justice was prevented from acting against Saimir Tahiri.
