Albania has been included in the 'Association of Balkan National Theaters', a theatrical association whose goal will be to further strengthen the inter-cultural relations in the Balkans.
This association's establishment was announced in Sofia in presence of theater directors from Romania, Slovenia, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania and Bulgaria.
The participants signed a memorandum which paves the way to the cultural exchanges, co-productions, workshops, a new informative network between different theaters and a Balkan Theater Festival to be organized in one of the Balkan countries capitals.
Turkey, Greece and Serbia are also expected to join the 'Association of Balkan National Theaters' during the following weeks.
