The public administration has been engulfed by a wave of political appointments while hundreds of professionals are being dismissed on a daily basis. The Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) Parliamentary Group chairman, Petrit Vasili accused on Sunday Prime Minister Edi Rama of being the mastermind behind this partisan persecution of the professionals.



"Public administration is experiencing on a daily basis the wave of professionals' partisan persecution and horrible incompetence.



Hundreds of employees are being currently dismissed without any motive. They are fired only in accordance to the orders given by majority MPs or militants of all kinds.



The Civil Service law has been openly violated and is replaced by the article 24/2.

The transparent report recently released by the Commissioner for the Oversight of Civil Service clearly indicates that 1/3 of the employees appointment is done in violation of the law.



Premier Rama's hysteric rush to fire the highest number possible of employees has induced him to appoint some time even directors who had been recently fired by his order," said Vasili.



In conclusion he declared that nothing more may be expected by an indocile Premier that hates the professionals.
