The Albanian National Team experienced another blow in relation to the arrival of new players. After Edon Zhegrova that chose to join Kosovo's National Team ranks, Albian Ajeti also chooses to play for Switzerland instead of Albania.

Swiss media reported that the 21-years old player, currently part of Basel, made his final choice and is now expected to wear Switzerland's flannel during a friendly match with Greece.

Earlier he was contacted by Albania's coach Christian Panucci but differently from his brother Arlind he chose not to wear the Red and Black flannel.

Albian Ajeti has played for Switzerlands U15 and U21 scoring a total of 12 goals. Likewise he is also the author of 8 goals in 23 matches of Basel during this season.
