The chairwoman of Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI), Monika Kryemadhi urges for a higher awareness toward teachers work and their problematic. In a public message on Wednesday, in occasion of Teacher's Day, she stressed that this day should serve as impetus for a major attention toward the educational staff all over Albania.

"I want to address a special congratulatory message to the teachers all over Albania that do their best everyday to educate the new generations. Our deepest gratitude goes also to those teachers who made extreme sacrifices during the communist dictatorship overcoming the ideological barriers and became of model of life for many generations," said Kryemadhi.

She underlined that flowers, messages in the social networks or congratulatory messages by the politicians can't be considered as sufficient for the teachers that currently operate in difficult conditions.

"This day should serve as impetus for a major support toward the teachers who continue to work in overcrowded classrooms and with low salaries. Let Teacher's Day be a motive for everyone to support them in this important duty in order to have more qualitative new generations," declared Kryemadhi.
