'French Reading Hall', New Modern Space in National Library

The Albanian National Library will from now have a new reading hall entirely devoted to the French language and culture.

This modern space, which was inaugurated one day ago, has been baptized as 'French Reading Hall'.

The new reading space design has been based on the concept of a reading island that sails symbolically and graphically heading toward a Francophone cultural destination, while being at the service of reading, information exchange, knowledge and aesthetic pleasure.

A fund composed by 3700 books which includes the works of around 200 among most important authors of the French philosophy, literature, anthropology, architecture or art during the 20th century will become available for the readers and researchers.

This new reading hall was set up thanks to the National Library cooperation with French Embassy in Tirana, the Ministry of Culture, the French Alliance, the Belle Arts Faculty, etc.
