The Albanian Power Corporation (KESH) refutes any responsibility in relation to the last days' floods in some villages of Shkodra district.

The corporate declared on Monday that the controlled outlet from the hydro-power plants situated in Drin River cascade were not the origin of this situation.

APC also informed the public opinion that energy producing aggregates are operating with full capacity in order to lower the reservoirs level preventing risk of floods. Controlled outlet is also still underway due to the increased flow of water in the HPC lakes as result of snow melting and rainfalls, the APC reported.
