Democratic Party (DP) request for an inquiring committee on former-Socialist Minister of Interior, Sajmir Tahiri issue was the highlight of Chairmen Conference meeting on Monday.

DP request is focused on the legitimacy of administrative actions of legislative and bodies in relation to the inquiry on Tahiri�s alleged ties with international drugs smuggling.

Three main elements of DP request are listed below:

The verification of parliament�s decision to overrule prosecution�s request for Tahiri�s arrest legitimacy and effects, the Prime Minister Edi Rama and other government members� actions aimed to obstruct the inquiring process or intimidate the prosecutors, the legitimacy of Nazer Seiti extradition to Italy while under inquiry on the same grounds as Tahiri.
