Former Roads Director Xhika Faces Prosecutors of Serious Crimes

Xhika was interrogated on Thursday by the prosecutors in relation to the alleged abuses during the Tirana - Elbasan road construction.
He was arrested a few weeks ago along with other officials of the Roads Directory on grounds of abuse of duty.
Prosecutors claim that the defendants caused a EUR 35 Million financial damage to the state budget through their actions and omissions of duty.
