Prime Minister Edi Rama addresses a direct warning related to the water reform to the local authorities. He made it clear on Friday that no funds will be given to those municipalities that fail to implement this reform.
Zero funds will be given from now on to the municipalities that do not contribute in water reform implementation. The same policy will be followed even for those municipalities unable to obtain alternative funds or do not invest in agrotourism sector, said the chief of executive, Rama.
Referring to the government latest program titled 100 villages he declared that mitigation will be enabled for those willing to invest in agrotourism.
Mitigations related to the Value Added Tax (VAT) will be provided to those willing to invest in this sector. Of course this program will have a deadline, thus everyone should consider a 2 or 3 year period for a final decision on this kind of investment. The subsidies will be given after the presentation of a certificate to be issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, declared PM Rama.
