January is already over and the 'big fish' of Albania are still free. The US Ambassador to Tirana, Doland Lu, who was very confident earlier that the judicial reform and implementation of the vetting law would be successful and there would be many arrests in January this year, reacted on Wednesday saying that there should be results before this spring.

"To the Politicians, Police, and Prosecutors: You made promises to the Albanian people and to us. We invested the resources to help you fight organized crime and corruption. Where are your results? The Albanian people want an end to impunity. The international community wants concrete results before big decisions this spring. Tick-tock," reacted Lu.
