The drinking water bills payment create opportunities for investments. The Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Damian Gjiknuri underlined this fact on Wednesday during an inspection in Durres.

�The water bills payment consolidates this sector in the financial aspect enabling new investments which serve to the citizens. The financial consolidation leaves room for similar investments like the one in Durres where a fund of EUR 7.7 Million has been allocated for the sewers secondary network along the beach area,� said Gjiknuri.

Referring to the forewarned water reform the minister urged to citizens to formalize the relation with Water Supply Company ahead of March 1 in order to avoid penalties.
