Ministry of Interior Affairs has planned to spend around ALL 60 million in 2018 in order to raise the public security so every citizen can feel safe.
It is predicted that about 80% of this fund will be used to buy tapping devices for scientific and criminal police and for floating vehicles for coastal border directorate.
The government budget allocated to this institution for 2018 is valued at ALL 21.1 billion, a budget which shows an increase of 8.4% compared to the previous year.
Earlier, Minister Fatmir Xhafaj stated that besides this budget, there are additional funds from the United States of America and the European Union which will be invested in technology and assistance.
