The Albanian Weightlifting Federation (AWF) president, Elez Gjozaj reacted on Tuesday over news divulged by the media that the Albanian weightlifter Romela Begaj resulted positive in anti-doping tests. While admitting that there has been a communication with the International Weightlifting Federation about this issue he called for caution before saying the last word.

However, Gjozaj said that AWF would ask for a counter-test, adding that the media would be informed on due time about the results of these analysis and every detail of this issue.
