The Prosecution for Serious Crimes forewarns recourse against businessman Orest Sota release on bail. Through a brief announcement on Friday the prosecution informed that recourse will be filed to the High Court against the Serious Crimes Appeal court verdict.

Serious Crimes Appeal court changed one day ago the security measure for the 25-years old businessman releasing him in exchange of ALL 5 Million bail.

The 25-years old businessman Orest Sota was arrested on November 1, 2017 by Elbasan police while in possession of a sum of EUR 863.000. The police also discovered two boating licenses in the name of former-Socialist Minister of Interior, Sajmir Tahiri in his car.

Sota has always denied any connection with Tahiri claiming that the boating licenses had been forgotten in his car by the former-Minister of Interior driver. On the other side the prosecution pretends that the huge sum of money belongs to Tahiri.
