The former Prime Minister Sali Berisha reacted on Friday about releasing the businessman Orest Sota from custody a day ago.

Noriega ordered the release of Orest Sota. The fact that Sota was innocent but was arrested only due to the fact that he was transporting Sajmir Tahiri and his profits from drugs smuggling was the origin of this order. Noriegas adviser, Spartak Braho was the one that silenced the Elbasan police director aiming to protect the former-Socialist Minister of Interior, Sajmir Tahiri, the man that keeps in hostage PM Rama and his brother, declared Berisha.

According to former Prime Minister Berisha, it was Spartak Braho who did not permit to talk the director of Elbasan Police, so Sota was released.

The 25-years old businessman Orest Sota was arrested on November 1, 2017 by Elbasan police while in possession of a sum of EUR 863.000. The discovery by the police of two boating licenses in the name of Sajmir Tahiri in his car raised suspicions that even the sum of money might belong to Tahiri. Sota has always denied this fact, claiming that the boating licenses had been forgotten in his car by the former-Minister of Interior driver.
